Our organization was founded out of a love for gourmet foods and a sense of adventure in seeking out the finest quality products from around the world. Over the past 5 years, we noticed a huge proliferation of gift basket websites and stores however, most of them did not offer the level of food quality, product diversity and service that our customers insisted on. With the same business and philanthropic philosophy that we have operated in on all of our previous ventures, the mandates of the organization were simple - we would offer the highest quality product at a reasonable price AND contribute a portion of all profits to a deserving charity. After much research (and taste testing), we developed a line of gourmet gift baskets that are unsurpassed. We offer products from around the globe and around the block. Whether it is produced by a large corporation or a fledgling enterprise, the food that we use is the finest available in all respects - flavor, freshness, uniqueness and even packaging. Quality and taste are our only limits.
The second component of our business plan was to identify a worthy organization to contribute a portion of our profits to. After extensive research and numerous meetings, we decided to become a Corporate Sponsor of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine. The Make-A-Wish Foundation began on April 29, 1980, when officers of the Arizona Department of Public Safety granted the wish of 7-year-old Chris, who was living with leukemia, to be a police officer for a short time. The power of that wish in his life provided the inspiration for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Today, there are 75 chapters across the US, and 27 international affiliates. We believed that helping children who are facing life-threatening medical conditions through our sponsorship program was both vital and necessary.
